Our second stop on the Route 66 cross country road trip was The Four Seasons in St Louis. We originally picked it as a luxurious NYE stop, to ring in the new year with a bit of pampering. And even though our holiday plans got derailed, we decided to give The Four Seasons in the Gateway to the West a go!
Some highlights and random info:
Beautiful room overlooking the world famous Arch originally built for the Worlds Fair that St Louis hosted.
Dreamy soaking tub and shower.
There’s an attached casino that you can smoke in.
Morton’s is also attached. (Also, note the reason attached is a big deal is because it was like 7 degrees when we were there so it was really nice not to have to go outside!)
Ｘ• Dressing Table ➡ Nope. But the bathroom is so pretty I didn’t mind standing to get ready.
✓ • Desk & Table ➡ Yes! Desk table combo thing. Good space to work or have a bit of room service.
✓ • Chaise / Couch / Chair ➡ Yes! Glorious oversized chaise. With a great C-Table next to it! Miles read the paper on it. Then when he showered Choube and I meditated there!
✓ • Spa
We didn’t leave the hotel. It was our first time in a luxury hotel since pre-Rona so we were pleased to just hang out. They were friendly toward Miss Mia, brought a sweet dog bed and welcome basket to the room for her. We were questioned once at the restaurant but ultimately they let her in (she is a service dog, and we always have her in a bassinet or stroller at restaurants). We happened upon brunch, and it was the best meal we had at the Four Seasons.
